As part of my ongoing series of amazing news, I'm proud to announce Nodejitsu, in conjunction with the fine folks @ Bocoup, will be hosting three upcoming training workshops about our favorite technology...Node.js!
These workshops will be in: New York, Boston, and Portland ( before NodeConf ) on the following dates:
- From the Browser to the Server
- Characteristics of Async Programming
- Buffers, Streams, and EventEmitters
- Speaking HTTP like a Native
- File System
- Async Iteration
- Getting started with npm
- Lets build a Web Service
- Routing with Journey
- Relax! with Cradle and Resourcer
- Serve Static Assets with node-static
- Handle session and cookies
- Logging with Winston
- Get Real-(time) with Socket.io
- Testing with Vows
- Go Prod with Forever and Cluster
We look forward to helping get as many developers production ready with Node.js as we can! We'll be answering any Node questions you can think up and we'll be sticking around after each workshop to hack and possibly get some tasty drinks!
For those of you who are planning to be in Portland for NodeConf or JSConf this year, I highly recommend you try to make it to our Oregon session. We'll have the entire team there, some special guests, and I'll even be giving a presentation on the basics of building and publishing open-source node modules.
If you can't make it to any of these three node.js training sessions, don't fret! There will be more in the future! If you'd like Nodejitsu to come to your event or company we'd be glad to start a dialog! Feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org anytime!
Until the next batch of amazing news....Ninja Out!
